Real Story

Imagine being an adult with a head full of dreams and getting charged with something alleged to have taken place when you were 13 years old comes up to destroy your life.

This is my story.

At the age of 20, I was charged for something I was alleged to have done when I was 13; however I was being charged as an adult. It’s kind of complicated, that's why it's my first time talking about it since it happened three years ago. Being charged as an adult, I was facing 7 years. I had never been a real trouble maker in the past,. To make matters worse I was in college at the time, so this put a major pause in my life. Consequently, I dropped out of school because I really couldn't focus. My life became a ticking time bomb!

I prayed and prayed, cried and cried. Then one day downtown God sent me a savior. I remember it like it was 30 minutes ago. My uncle and I was on the elevator and the doors began to close. I stuck my hand in to reopen it as I seen a woman rushing to catch it. Kimberly Falls Lentz came aboard. My uncle asked, "Do you know any good lawyers”? She replied, "I know a great lawyer!"(Speaking about herself).

We went to her office. As we talked for about an hour she too couldn't understand why I was being tried as an adult. I told her I was being offered to do 3 years in prison and 5 years on parole. Ms. Falls Lentz advised me to fight the case although she wouldn't be able to do much since I had then disclosed that I already representing me. I noticed how caring she was throughout our conversation.

That in mind, I went home and discussed switching my lawyer with my family. My family insisted I sign the papers. But something inside me told me I could get way better results with Ms. Falls Lentz on my side. The next morning I finally decided to switch lawyers. She jumped on the case immediately. After a month of fighting and cleaning up the legal mess, she had my case sent back to the lower court where it should've stayed in the first place!

Ms. Falls Lentz was a smart, firm lawyer at my defense throughout this entire process! After a long year battling my prosecution the case was dismissed. Ms. Kimberly Falls Lentz saved my life. And the amazing thing about it she made it look easy! I'm forever indebted to her works.

I am currently back in college with a 3.0. And I just signed a basketball scholarship at Walter State. All thanks to Ms. Falls. She's a real life saver!
